Fluidigm is looking for a motivated and integral member of the sales team at Fluidigm, who will possess excellent technical skills and a proven track record in sales to acquire new customers, while retaining and growing our existing customer base.

As an Inside Sales Manager , the ideal candidate will be expected to develop and implement successful strategies and tactics to sell high throughput genomics and/or mass cytometry solutions to all level of contacts within the industry – both as an individual contributor and through managing the Inside Sales Team.

– both as an individual contributor and a sales leader Motivation to exceed sales targets Solid self-management, organizational and prioritization skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to lead the Inside Sales team to develop and execute on new business and account opportunities to drive revenue growth The ability to work within a team selling environment, as well as lead a team of insides sales representatives.

The ability to interface at all levels within an organization, with both internal/external customers A demonstrated commercial excellence – including strong selling skills, forecasting accuracy, CRM (sfdc) rigor and funnel management, Account Planning, Mapping and key account planning; strong business development and sales closing skills for instruments and consumables Effective listening, interpersonal communication and telephone sales skills Drive and manage the sales of Microfluidics and Mass Cytometry (Genomics and Proteomics) products and consumables throughout the Americas region Coach your team to develop their telesales skills to maintain, grow and penetrate new accounts Partner with your Inside Sales team and their respective Account Managers to provide assistance with quotations, hunting for leads, driving regional marketing programs, lead qualification, closing opportunities and order tracking; manage sfdc metrics and sales dashboards Effectively prospect to find and close new opportunities in existing and new accounts Develop and maintain strategic buying relationships with customers and manage the overall relationship within accounts Contribute to developing effective channel and franchise strategies and tactics that will enable Fluidigm to achieve year over year growth targets Lead and contribute to continuous improvement
– developing effective sales processes and analytics within the group Represent Fluidigm to the customer AND the customer to the company ensuring alignment with our company’s values Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in a Life Sciences discipline 3 – 5 years related direct life science product sales experience with either Mass Cytometry, Flow Cytometry, Molecular Imaging, NGS workflows and Library Prep, Gene expression, Genotyping, QPCR or other high throughput genomics applications Experience with Salesforce CRM software Minimum of 8 years of successful sales experience in Life Sciences or Diagnostics markets, with good knowledge of genomics and proteomics workflows Prior sales experience with supervisory responsibilities Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Accountable, honest, team focused, and passionate about our field Willing to travel up to 20% of time to key customers, conferences and meetings Work based at our Fluidigm office in Markham, ON Canada Ready to join an industry leader with a bold and ambitious mission that is enabling advancements in human health?
