We are seeking a Web Channel Manager to join our growing marketing team, based out of Markham, ON. Reporting into the Senior Manager- Marketing, this role will be accountable for developing and implementing strategies to optimize Xplore’s website performance, search engine optimization and conversion rate optimization. You will also monitor website analytics and track key performance metrics. In partnership with external vendors, you will work with a team of designers, developers, and content creators to ensure that the website meets the company’s marketing and business goals and user needs.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize website performance, including page load speed, search engine optimization, and conversion rate optimization.
• Monitor website analytics and track key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
• Work with a team of designers, developers, and content creators from our agency to ensure that website projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
• Conduct user research and analysis to gain insights into user behaviour and preferences, and use these insights to inform website design and development decisions.
• Lead the design and development of the company’s website to create a seamless and intuitive user experience
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in website design, user experience, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the company, including marketing, product, and IT, to ensure that the website supports business goals and objectives.
• 5+ years Marketing and communications experience
• 5+ years of experience in website design and development, with a focus on user experience and performance optimization.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects is an asset
• 5+ years’ experience in web design principles and best practices, as well as user experience and performance optimization techniques.
• 3+ years’ experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with website development platforms is not required but nice to have.
