Data Engineer III

Job Description

Principal Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Builds and maintains data management systems: Builds and maintains complex systems that combine core data sources into data warehouses, lakes or other accessible structures.
• Data conversions, imports and exports of data: Performs manipulation of data within and between software systems.
• Data transformation processes: Creates complex data transformation process.
• Extract, transform, and load data: Develops programs to optimally extract, transform, and load data between complex data sources.
• Data dictionary: Updates data dictionary and maintains the quality of Metadata Repository.
• Data integrity and standardization: Designs and implements processes to ensure data integrity and standardization.
• Data model support: Resolves moderately complex conflicts between models.
• Monitor and maintain data processing: Implements data reliability, efficiency, and quality improvements. Ensures the collected data is within required quality standards. Assists in troubleshooting data analytic tools, systems, and software.

Preferred Education & Experience: 

• 3-6 years of related experience
• Demonstrated ability to learn independently as well as from others. Push for improvement by bringing new ideas into the organization.
• Ability to bring complex concepts into the organization and mentor others
• Functions with a high degree of autonomy; generally requires no guidance
• Involved in complex solutions across multiple teams
