Software Engineer for Stream Compute (ML, HPC, etc.) Driver on Windows

The Role:

Providing Stream Compute capability on driver level for High Performance Computing (HPC), Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Block Chain and other leading technologies sets new real technological challenges that our team is helping to tackle.

The position provides the capability to realize technical knowledge and skills while learning new ones via research, development, and maintenance of Stream Compute driver. The latter provides support for above mentioned software to fully utilize AMD hardware capabilities.

The Person:

The candidate should be a teammate with good social and communications skills, mentor junior colleagues; at the same time, be capable to work with minimal direction.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities consist of designing features, developing new code, reproducing issues, debugging, fixing, checking-in to Source Versioning SW, working with various SW tools.

Preferred Experience:

Required skills include C++ development.

• Experience with GPUs
• Compute languages (HIP, CUDA, OpenCL, etc.)
• Driver level development
• Optimization and profiling experience
• Multithreading and parallel programming
• Familiarity with GIT and cmake build scripting

Academic Credentials:

• Bachelor or Master of Science in relative area
• PhD is a definite asset
