Health, Safety and Environment Intern

Reporting to the Senior HSE Manager – Canada, the HSE Intern based out of Markham, ON will support the local HBT team, including P3, Install and Service teams.

Key responsibilities:

Provide HSE support to the Canada HBT teams under the direction of the Sr. HSE Manager – Canada.

·       Facilitate and support HSE Training sessions

·       Participate in HSE inspections / Audits

·       Assist in HSE administrative work including preparing various reports, charts and decks as required for the business.

·       Assist in the administrative tasks and in tracking, flagging and follow up for HSE actions, Including Safety Observations trend analysis and put forth recommendations.

·       Support the Canada HSE Team in other tasks as and when required.

·       Special projects as identified that will help to develop technical and business knowledge for field work organization

You must have:

·       First year college student studying a science discipline (HSE, engineering, technology, chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, etc)

·       Due to Canada Export Control Laws, you must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status.

·       Excellent computer/analytical skills (Including MS office suite) and presentation skills

·       Driver’s license

·       Good communication skills – written and verbal

·       willing to learn and apply knowledge
